Welcome to Wildwood Racquet + Wellness Club’s Junior Programs, where young athletes begin their journey into the world of tennis. We offer a structured pathway for juniors, from beginners to high-performance players. Our professional staff is dedicated to developing both athletic skills and personal growth in a supportive environment.

Junior Programs
Junior Aces
Our Junior Aces program is designed for three- and four-year-old players. This engaging class emphasizes the development of athletic skills in a playful atmosphere. Young players will be introduced to the fundamentals of tennis, focusing on hand-eye coordination, balance, and agility through exciting exercises that build a strong athletic foundation.
Ages: 3 and 4
Days/Times (Session 3: 1/6-3/16):
Mondays: 4:00 – 4:30 pm
Cost: $120 for members | $145 for non-members.

Aces
Our Aces program is designed for players aged five to eight. Utilizing lower-compression red balls and a smaller 36′ court, this class focuses on enhancing athletic development while introducing essential tennis techniques and movements. Students will learn the fundamentals of stroke development and rallying skills, all in a fun and engaging environment.
Ages: 5-8
Days/Times (Session 3: 1/6-3/16):
Mondays: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Wednesdays: 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Saturdays: 9:00 – 10:00 am
Cost Mondays or Wednesdays: $240 for members | $290 for non-members.
Cost Saturdays: $216 for members | $261 for non-members.

Junior Elite
Our Junior Elite program is designed for players aged 9 to 11, using the orange ball on a 60-foot court and the green ball on a regulation tennis court. This class builds on the foundations established in the Aces program, focusing on stroke development, tennis-specific movement, rallying skills, and strategic gameplay. To optimize tennis and athletic development, we recommend participating in classes twice a week. Our Junior Elite program will naturally progress players toward competing in matches and tournaments.
Ages: 9-11

Mondays: 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Wednesdays: 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 – 11:00 8m
Cost: $240 for members | $290 for non-members

Middle School Development
Our Middle School Junior Development programs cater to players from rising 6th graders to 8th grade athletes, offering personalized instruction in core techniques, game rules, and strategic play. With tailored drills, we aim to enhance skills for middle and high school success. Players can transition to competitive play through USTA tournaments.
Ages: Middle School players
Days/Times (Session 3: 1/6-3/16):
Mondays 4:00–5:30 pm
Wednesdays: 4:00–5:30 pm
Sundays: 2:00–3:30 pm
Cost: $360 for members | $435 for non-members.

High School Development
Our High School Junior Development programs cater to players from rising 9th graders to 12th grade athletes, offering personalized instruction in core techniques, game rules, and strategic play. With tailored drills, we aim to enhance skills for middle and high school success. Players can transition to competitive play through USTA tournaments.
Ages: High School players
Days/Times (Session 3: 1/6-3/16):
Mondays: 4:00–5:30 pm
Wednesdays: 4:00–5:30 pm
Saturdays: 12:00–1:30 pm
Sundays: 3:30–5:00 pm
Cost: $360 for members | $435 for non-members.

Wildwood Academy
This program is designed for tournament players seeking a high-intensity environment. Participants will focus on refining techniques, tactical strategies, and physical conditioning to elevate their game to competitive levels. Drills and match simulations offer a challenging experience, ensuring players develop a competitive edge. Classes will be grouped based on current UTR (Universal Tennis Rating).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a minimum UTR of 2.0
- Played in at least 4 tournaments with 2 out of 3 set scoring (level 1-6 USTA)
Days/Times (Session 3: 1/6-3/16):
Tuesdays/Thursdays: 4:00–6:00 pm
Cost: $960 for members | $1,160 for non-members.
